Overview

Mission 

Committed to advancing dermatologic care through research and education
The Dermatology Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization founded in 1964. Its primary purpose is to raise funds to underwrite research in skin cancer and other diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. 

While the Foundation is actively involved in funding research and providing education to dermatologists, it is not a clinical organization. It is not directly involved in the diagnosis or treatment of dermatologic diseases. For clinical referrals and other information, please contact The American Academy of Dermatology.

History

The Dermatology Foundation was founded in 1964 by 10 dermatologists. Its primary purpose is to underwrite research for the future of dermatology.

Dermatology Focus
Dermatology Focus is a clinical practice update and is mailed to all members of the Foundation four times a year.
 
 
Progress in Dermatology
Progress in Dermatology is a quarterly compilation of news of basic science and clinical advances. It is distributed exclusively to members of the Foundation.
